  1. Introduction

Welcome to Heyy Shal’O’m Hosting, a hosting platform owned and operated by Heyy Shal’O’m MediaPro, located at 171 Windward Road, Kingston 2, Jamaica.

By using our services, including shared, VPS, dedicated, and managed WordPress hosting, as well as domain and email services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

  1. Hosting Services & Features

We provide the following hosting services:

  • Shared Hosting: Affordable entry-level hosting with limited storage and resources. Suitable for small websites and low traffic.
  • VPS Hosting: Virtual Private Servers where clients can select tiers based on CPU, memory, and storage requirements.
  • Dedicated Hosting: Fully dedicated servers with customizable plans for large websites and high-traffic applications.
  • Managed WordPress Hosting: Optimized hosting for WordPress websites, including automatic updates and security monitoring.

Included features:

  • Email accounts
  • SSL certificates (free and premium options)
  • Automatic backups (free and premium: level varies by plan)
  • Access to AWS and Digital Ocean for failover and redundancy

Usage limits:

  • Shared hosting resources are limited per account to ensure fair usage.
  • VPS hosting clients select tier levels which determine resources available.
  • Dedicated hosting plans provide full server resources per plan.

 

  1. Billing & Payments
  • Payment Methods: Credit Card, Visa Debit, PayPal
  • Billing Cycle: Monthly or yearly
  • Refund / Money-Back Policy: Refunds are possible upon pre-approval under specific conditions. Please contact support for requests.
  • Late Payment / Non-Payment: Accounts may be suspended or terminated in case of unpaid invoices, with or without prior notice.

 

  1. Domain & Email Policies
  • Domain Registration: Clients are responsible for renewing their domains. Managed hosting clients must enable auto-renewal to prevent expiration.
  • Domain Transfers: Supported according to registrar rules and ICANN regulations. Transfers may take 1–7 days depending on the registrar.
  • Email Hosting: Clients are responsible for securing their email, websites, and systems. While we monitor managed hosting accounts and may take proactive actions, clients should implement security best practices, educate staff, and report any issues promptly.

 

  1. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Clients must not use our services for:

  • Spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited emails
  • Hacking, malware, or distributing viruses
  • Hosting illegal content, pornography, or prohibited technologies
  • Running scripts or processes that negatively impact shared hosting environments

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension or termination.

 

  1. Security & Backups
  • Backups: We provide automated backups; clients are also responsible for maintaining their own backups. Shared hosting may have limited access to backup features.
  • Security Measures: Firewalls (VPS), SSL certificates (free/premium), regular malware scanning, and removal services are provided.

 

  1. Uptime & Support
  • Uptime: We prioritize server uptime and treat any downtime with urgency. Managed hosting includes proactive monitoring.
  • Support Availability: 24/7 support, with higher service availability during business days.
  • Response Times: Instant for critical issues; queuing may occur depending on workload.

 

  1. Liability & Legal Protection
  • Limitation of Liability: Heyy Shal’O’m Hosting is not liable for any downtime, data loss, or website issues. Interruptions may occur due to third-party partners. We implement backups and redundancy to mitigate risk, but no platform guarantees zero issues.
  • Governing Law: All services are governed under the laws of Jamaica, W.I. Clients are responsible for all legal fees in disputes.

 

  1. Termination / Suspension
  • Grounds for Suspension or Termination: Non-payment, abuse of services, violations of T&C or AUP
  • Notice Period: Clients will receive at least 30 days’ notice for planned terminations, unless immediate suspension is necessary due to abuse, violation, or security concerns

 

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, with the effective date clearly stated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
